Aiphone UK’s Technical Manager, Ian Campbell has an important part to play in helping us ensure no other intercom or video door entry solutions manufacturer gets close to matching the quality of our pre or post sales support.
Many of this newsletter’s readers will have met Ian on site or benefited from his technical expertise and product knowledge when speaking to him via telephone, but you may not know his career within the electronic security industry spans 30 years. Prior to joining Aiphone UK Ltd in 2015, he had performed technical support roles for a number of companies, including former Aiphone distributor BC Technology, where he worked for 12 years, C&K Systems (Honeywell) and Visonic.
“I am proud of the level of support we give and the friendly way in which we deliver tips and advice to our distributors, installers and their sales teams,” said Ian, whose hobbies include following F1 racing and Newcastle United FC. “I am also fortunate that my role at Aiphone UK involves me in a wide range of stimulating activities. In addition to dealing on a day-to-day basis with customer technical support issues which quite often involves field visits, I am also responsible for Quality Control and our repair service, as well as having the opportunity to run product training courses for installers and regularly assisting customers with system design and product selection.
